Lars-Erik Olsson (Leo)

Lars-Erik Olsson (Leo), born in 1961, has a doctorate in sociology and associate professor in social work. Leo has been a manager for just over 15 years in the academic world. He has trained and researched mainly in the field of organization and leadership, but has also done studies of people’s vulnerability. Leo has taught, mentored individuals and groups and lectured for 20 years. In addition, he has been a manager and leader for 15 years and has experience in both operational and strategic change work. Leo has many years of international experience from development projects from, among others, Kurdistan, Uganda and Rwanda. For several years, Leo conducted leadership training for leaders in non-profit organizations. In recent years, he has worked as a consultant within his own company Kreasoma AB, as a supervisor for working groups in social work but also worked with refugees within the Church of Sweden. He has also been head of a research unit at Ersta Sköndal University and worked at a sheltered accommodation for women and with alcohol and drug rehabilitation for criminals, organizational expert at the aid organization Folke Bernadotte Akademi. Leo is also a co-owner of an Indian company that operates a restaurant in the state of Kerala.
